1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account data: name, email, phone number, username, profile photo, bio
• Identity verification data: government issued ID and related information, where required
• Payment and payout data: processed by third party payment providers (we do not store full card numbers); payout account details for creators, advisors, and hosts
• Content: videos, photos, listings, itineraries, reviews, messages, and anything else you upload or submit
• Communications: support requests, survey responses, correspondence with us

Information collected automatically

• Device and technical data: IP address, device identifiers, browser and OS type, app version, crash logs
• Usage data: pages and reels viewed, watch time, saves, searches, bookings, interactions, referral sources, attribution data linking bookings to creator or advisor content
• Location data: approximate location from IP address; precise location only with your permission
• Cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising technologies from third parties such as Meta and Google

Information from third parties

• Booking suppliers (including Expedia Group) confirming reservation and stay data
• Social platforms, if you connect or sign in through them
• Identity verification, fraud prevention, and analytics providers

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Platform, including bookings, payouts, attribution, and support
• Verify identity, prevent fraud, and maintain safety and security
• Personalize content, recommendations, and search results
• Communicate with you about bookings, payouts, updates, and, subject to your choices, marketing
• Advertise and promote the Platform, properties, and content, including through paid media and third party platforms
• Measure and attribute advertising performance
• Develop new products and features, and conduct research and analytics
• Train, test, and improve our software and recommendation, personalization, and machine learning systems
• Comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect our rights, users, and the public

Public content. Content you post to the Platform, along with your username, profile photo, and public profile information, is public by design. It may be viewed, shared, and distributed on and off the Platform, and used in ReelStay marketing and advertising, as described in the Terms of Service.

3. How We Disclose Information

We disclose information:

• To other users and the public: public profile information, public content, reviews, and information necessary to complete confirmed bookings
• To suppliers and partners: booking suppliers (including Expedia Group as merchant of record where applicable) to fulfill reservations; hosts receive guest information necessary for confirmed stays
• To service providers: hosting, payments, identity verification, analytics, communications, customer support, and marketing providers, under contracts limiting their use of the data
• To advertising partners: through cookies, pixels, and SDKs for advertising measurement and audience building; depending on your jurisdiction this may constitute "sharing" or "selling" of personal information, and you may opt out as described in Section 7
• For legal reasons: to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; to enforce our Terms; to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues; and to protect the rights, property, and safety of ReelStay, our users, and others
• In business transfers: in connection with any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, in which case information may be transferred as a business asset
• With your direction or consent

We do not sell personal information for money.

4. Cookies and Tracking

We and our partners use cookies, pixels (including the Meta pixel), local storage, and SDKs to operate the Platform, remember preferences, analyze usage, and measure and deliver advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser and device settings, and you can opt out of cross context behavioral advertising as described in Section 7. Where required by law, we honor Global Privacy Control signals.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed for the purposes described above, including legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and record keeping purposes. Content licensed to us under the Terms of Service may be retained and used after account deletion as described in the Terms, including copies incorporated into marketing materials, derivative works, backups, and archives.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; receive a portable copy; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising.

To exercise rights, submit a request through the privacy request form at myreelstay.com/privacy-request, which routes to our privacy team. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA).The categories of personal information we collect, use, and disclose are described in Sections 1 through 3. We "share" personal information (identifiers, device data, and usage data) with advertising partners for cross context behavioral advertising. You may opt out via the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our website footer and app settings, or by enabling Global Privacy Control. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.

EEA, UK, and Swiss residents. Our legal bases are performance of contract, legitimate interests (operating, securing, and promoting the Platform), consent (where required, e.g., certain cookies and marketing), and legal obligation. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

8. International Transfers

We operate from the United States, and information is processed in the United States and other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Children

The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18, and users under 18 are not permitted to create accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it and terminate the associated account. Concerns may be submitted through the privacy request form at myreelstay.com/privacy-request.

10. Third Party Links and Services

The Platform may link to third party sites and services, including booking suppliers, social platforms, and payment providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post the updated Policy with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acknowledgment of the updated Policy.
